HKS Type-1 turbo timer w/ harness - Installation?

So it's easy enough to swap and connect it to the factory harness, but exactly how should I go about tapping into the rev and speed sensor wires? I.E. where's the easiest way to get into those? The parking brake safety is easy enough. I couldn't find any info in the FSM about the rev and speed sensor wires. Hell, I don't even know what color they are and where to get at them. I hear it's from the ECU, but hell if I know.

Any info would be appreciated.

yeah rev and speed signals come from the ecu harness. off hand i'm not sure what wires they are for the KA. the FSM does have it in there, but i'll admit it's a little confusing. there should be a foldout pin guide on the last page or so, thats where i got my pins from, from there just tap the wire for the corresponding pin you find in the FSM

*edit* if you have an '89 240 like your profile says, then you may not have an electronic speed sensor. speed sensor isn't critical to hook up. it just lets you play with the 0-60 and 1/4 mile mode on there. rev isnt either unless you want the auto function to work on the timer.

I truly appreciate the help. It's an 89' with an SR swap not done by me, but the previous owner. I was hoping to get the auto function hooked up, at least. I'm currently replacing my old dash with a better conditioned one and figured this would be the easiest time to do the timer install.

I looked around a bit more at the diagram which comes with the timer and it does show the correct locations... for something like, 90' or 91' silvia's. All in all, it's a bit confusing, but I've got over 3 months before I pull this thing outta the garage.
