I have never heard of an HKS Type-II but if its the HKS type-1 its basicly the same. I have a HKS Type-0.
You should get the wiring harness for it if u want to pay the extra, but if your going to splice into the ignition (which is what i "HAD" to do) then heres the wiring diagram:
Red Goes to 12v ConstantGreen goes to 12v Only when the key is turned to the on positionBlue is 12v accessoryGrey connects the the parking brake wire
(everything should work from there but if u have a brown wire it goes to the RPM signal from your ECU. its the yellow red wire only on the SR20DET ECU)
(If you have a extra blue wire also then that goes to the SPEED signal from your ECU. Its the yellow green wire from the SR20DET ECU ONLY)
Thats that. Find a place to put it and test it out. Also make sure you disconnect your negative terminal from the battery when connecting the wires.
