Do any of you guys have HKS Turbo timers, I saw them for 69.00, and I think it was a Type 0, silver color.

Are these good, and ok for a Silvia s13, what's the difference between this one and the Type 1.

Thnx in advance for your responses.:D

I like the new Blitz turbo timers. The DTT-DC has a boost gauge on it. Like I H8 said, the type 1 is a good timer. It has these functions:

1. Vehicle Speed / Speed peak hold display function2. Vehicle Speed warning function3. Engine rpm / rpm peak hold display function4. Engine rpm warning function, setting able to be made in 2 points (shift up indicator / red line indicator)5. Distance / Time: Acceleration measurement: 0-100m, 0-200m, 0-400m & Section time: 200-400m& Speed attain time: 0-100km/h, 0-150km/h, 0-200km/h& Acceleration time: 50-100km/h, 100-150km/h & Auto start and manual start function6. Stopwatch measurement: Time measurement; Multiple Lap time measurement; 4 digit display for the measurement time / 0.01sec display

Does the HKS type 1 give accurate readings for 0-60 1/4 and stuff? Or is it way off and not woth the extra money to get it?

The Type-0 is a basic turbo timer. The Type-1 (silver) has a lot of options but they're in metric. If you buy the black Type-1 then it'll be rigged for US standard measurements like 1/4 mile, 0-60mph etc., etc.

So where can I get the black Type 1 for US measurements?

I have the HKS type 1 in my silvia s13. Im luvin' it. But if you dont need all the extra functions then the type 0 is a great timer.
