I have a HKS super drager exhaust with 3" pipe and 5" tail, my question is:

can it be right that HKS only made this with JASMA ( that they are street proved) because i think that the big exhaust is way to noise-less...

and what the best solution, to gut that "mid muffler" out and weld a 3" pipe instead the muffler or can i get a new midpipe cheep so that the mid muffler dont take all the noise...?!?

here is some pictures

i dont think you would find another mid pipe that lined up exactly to that one, probably easier to weld in a straight pipe, or a resonator where that muffler thing is.

I really don't think that thing is going to be 'stock quiet'. Why do you want to be louder?? Attract more rice so you can rev at em?

Agreed. It probably not that quiet at WOT and may just sound sexy as could be.

Yeah too loud is bad. I hate driving my car for that reason.

hook it up and see how it sounds. quiet exhausts usually sound better and attract less attention which in my opinion is a good thing

Hook it up before you start breaking it apart!

My friend has one on his supra, i realize the piping is a lot bigger for the supra but still it sounds REALLY good.

Yes i know there is a big difference.

But with the money you spent on that more then likely. Why would you want to chop it up?
