hey i was wondering if anyone has any input on the SAFR - is this any better than the SAFC?? i used the search button and it came up with two posts none of which really had any feedback. I plan on running it on a turbo ka with sr injectors and walboro fuel pump, going to be running 5 to 6 psi most of the time - its my daily thanks!!

I love the AFR, I prefer HKS products over Greddy most of the time anyway. I find there product to be of higher quality. As far as working is concerned, the AFR does a fantastic job. It corrects for open atmosphere BOV's and is easy to tune as well as install.

Just my .02

If the SAFC came in anything but "Got Rice Blue" I might like it more...lol.

It's a lot cheaper too. I just got mine for $120. The only APEXi SAFC I can find for that price is them old school 5 dial ones that are like 10 years old.

ok, i just went to the hks web site. it says that there are 11 points of correction, idle correction, 6 points of response correction(?), and idle stabilizer. it says it works with all kinds of air flow meters too. i am wondering if you can just set it for the type of maf and the type of injectors and be done with it. that is how my buddy with the emanage does it. he is so close to stock(fwd sr20det) that he does not need any of the correction points. anyone know if the hks unit can do that?

ok, i checked it out some more. looks like the super afr may even be better (once you throw price in there) than jwt.

remember that JWT does more than fuel. they also set the timing to the setup you are using along with other things like removing speed/rev limiters. i do think there are much better choices than JWT but dont get the idea that they only change the fuel management

oh no, i know that. i am really only concerned with jwt setting up the fuel. i was considering jwt to compensate for a z32 maf with big injectors because i can do the timing(base setting, not the curve) and stuff myself. however, if i can get a super afr for less than $200 and take care of the fuel issue, then i am just about sold. of course fuel is in stage two of my project along with the big turbo. i am still getting parts together for stage one......getting it on the road.

by the way, i know this is the ka section but im an sr guy right now. thanks anyway and i promise to help yall out too.
