Good afternoon guys just got a set of hks ssqv bovs from z1 and I installed them currently without them recirculating back into the system as this is what z1 directed me to do and the guys at z1 with 300s said they have been running them for years like this with no problems.....what is your take on this.....tha ks I n advance!!!!!!!

All it does is create a rich condition every time you shift and causes a small amount of lag since you don't have the high velocity air entering your turbos. There are ways to minimize the effects of this with proper custom tuning but recirculated is always going to be better based on the physics. If you're willing to accept the trade off for the pssshhhthss than that's your deal. Personal opinion is all atmospheric BOVs on street cars are about as ricer as a triple decker wing on an ej civic.
