Anyone who has tested or heard anything about the HKS Single Plate Clutch Kit with lightened flywheel? I see http://www.srswap.com has this at a very affordable price ($449)

Hmmm....I would think that's gotta be a typo, other places sell that kit for about $800. Maybe they meant just the clutch or just the flywheel??

I know that's what it says on their website, but that price list they posted is just temporary until they get their online ordering system up. So like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if it was an error on their part. I mean come on that is almost 50% less than other retailers, and they aren't even advertising it on their main page??

Then order it now, if thats the price. You can just turn around and sell it for twice the money.

It's a great kit though, it grabs like a drunk in a strip bar. I dont think anyone will say bad things about it.

Anybody know how much power it can handle by chance?I dunno if that is a full kit though, the HKS site list retail on the full single plate clutch kit at $980.00 and the a single plate kit at $580.00 with the flywheel at $395.00 which seems when put to gether makes me think that price is an error, better get moving and order one so you can let us know, cause if so that is a ill deal for sure, since I'm sure cost is more then that price would suggest if it is $980.00 retail for the dealer.-James

I have bought lots from them in the past... So I went straight to the horses mouth. I also figured if it was true, to get one b4 u mofo's could mess it up for me. This is what I got from them:

Sorry Rick, the $449 price is only for the clutch kit with no flywheel :). Sorry, double entry in the database.

Sorry guys.

Ah, I knew it was too good to be true :P But anyway, it's a great price for a HKS pressure plate and disc isn't it?? I'm just wondering how driveable it is compared to the orignal clutch.

Hey thats false advertising. If you see something advertised I know in say a real store they by law have to sell it for that price.

So any idea how much power is can hold, spec etc, like full face or pluck type. Sprung or solid hub?

As you can see on the last pic, it's puck type with sprung hub.

Still interested in hearing from people who has driven it and know how driveable it is.
