Hello,

I have HKS Hipermax II suspension for my 98 silvia, and I am wondering how I set the stiffness? Some people tell me there is a hex key that I can turn on the top of the suspension, but I only see the big lock nut. Others tell me it is at the bottom. So I jacked up the car, and it looks something like this (not mine):

So, it is the purple thing that I should turn then? How do I do that?

Ok, I have figured out the front. It is the purple knob.

But now I am confused about the rear. There is no purple knob at the bottom. Rather, on top, there is what looks like a hole for a hex key:

This picture is not exactly like mine - mine is all silver. Anyway, I have a hex key:But this key is simply too small for the hole. The hole also seems to be more circle than hex. Now, am I on the right track? If this is the knob how do I turn it?

inverted monotube = adjustment on the bottom

for the rears, insert all the way in. If you feel resistance, then you're on the right track

I've tried, but the key is too small and exerts no torque at all

...I have taken photos of my own shock:

I am now suspecting that my shocks are in fact missing something. Comparing this to the earlier photo, it looks like I am missing the golden part as well as the upper part of that screw like thing....

What should I do?
