I installed the HKS hiper a few weeks ago on my 96. Hks advertises their exhausts at 98 dB... one of the only street legal exhausts on the market.

It really isnt too loud... however, it is great sounding. When Im cruising slowly down a road with cars parked on both sides, the sound is so deep that I can hear car alarms chirping from the vibration. Now THAT is good shihat.

Ill see if I cant get a sound clip of it. The main problem will be transferring it to the computer.

im glad to hear good reviews :) But 2.5" isn't that a little small for a turboed car? Looks like i might have to go custom blarg.

i had the hiper all ready to install on my n/a 1992 300zx and then i totalled it the next day. Then i sold it to my friend who also had one and we put it in together, it sounds awesome. To this day i still dont know why i picked the HKS dragger over the hiper for my 240. But oh well

Make that all caps so that it denotes the volume and it'd be accurate. =\
