I get full boost at 4000 is there something wrong? is there any way to get it to spool up any quicker??the exhaust housing has a t3 flange & .64 a/r If i swap to a .64 a/r with a t25 flange may i get faster spool up???thx a lot for your help
The answer to your spooling question is "No"! The CA18DET does not produce enough CFM to get that turbo with that A/R to spool any faster. Besides that, 4000rpm spool-up is normal with the CA and any T3 based turbo. Unfortunately, if you want the turbo to spool-up any faster than that, you'll have to either raise the compression which isn't worth the gains or simply look at another hairdryer. How fast are you looking for full boost?
