hks f-con v pro help

i have a f-con v pro i am installing in my rb25 powered s14. what i need to know is how is it tuned? on the hks harness i have to 6pin plugs. are these plugs used for tuning or for option accessories like boost control or launch control? is the f-con tuned via the data link connctor. my dlc is not hooked up but i am in the process of duing so. however the rb uses the old grey connector for obd1 not the obd-2 connector, will this effect how the f-con is tuned? any feed back for f-con users would be greatly apprcieated.

only an hks dealer with the old fcon software can tell you what its tuned for, else its junk.

i know what the tune in the unit is. what i need to know is how its tuned. is it via the datalink connector or the two extra connectors on the unit itself

so i called a hks fcon tuning shop and the fcon is tuned via the 2 extra harness connectors no via the data link connector.

supposedly only certified hks dealers have access to the program for tuning this. ud have to locate someone to do it for u

The VPro is tuned via the HKS Power Writer software only available through HKS Certified Pro Dealers. I had the VPro on my s14 and it was dyno tuned directly at HKS USA in Gardena. Another reason that it's cool to live in So Cal. Go to HKSUSA.com for more info.
