I just got done installing the Hi-power (65mm) exhaust on my S13. Everything went great except for the alignment. First off, the tip is sitting at the rear of the bumper. I thought it was supposed to sit flush with it. And secondly, the exhaust is sitting offset to the left to where it's just-barely touching the bumper. I have provided pix to illustrate:

I have yet to change out the hangers. I hope to receive (in the mail), the Circuit Sports Hangers that I ordered, either tomorrow or Saturday. I'm not really all that concerned, just want to make sure that this isn't a regular occurring problem.

If any of you with the same exhaust, or know of someone with it, PLEASE HELP! Worst comes to worse, I'll see how I can modify the hangers the push the canister to the right a bit more.

Thanks is advance!

Thanks

I have the same exhaust, however I do not have a kit. I had zero issues with fitment or anything.

Your best bet is to heat up the hangers so you can adjust them. Which i've done on the GF's integra.
Worse case, I suppose you can cut your bumper, but thats tacky..

What brand of a bumper do you have?

I was thinking the same thing. I do have an aftermarket bumper, Vertex. I'll see what options I have; I'm going to take it to a muffler shop tomorrow and see what advice they give me.

Hose clamp your hangers to adjust how it sits until your CS ones come in.

I blame your bumper. Like Enjoinismo, I have the same exhaust and have 0 problems but I also have no kit. Did you have stock exhaust before this?

No. The car came with a modified stock exhaust.

Any suggestions as to where I can clamp it to?

I've got the same exhaust but bigger one 95mm or 120mm. Only issue i have is that my resonator scraps over speed bumps at factory height. But when I installed my orgin bumper i didn't fit. I have to cut the hanger and make it short to lift the unit up and some how fiddle with the hanger to move the exhaust to the right.
