HKS EVC V uses fuzzy logic or manual setting?

Does anybody know if the HKS EVC V relies on preset boost settings or does it learn your setup automatically i.e. fuzzy logic? I was looking at the HKS website and it didn't mention anything about fuzzy logic, so I am assuming it's has seperate settings (hi, low, and scramble setting, unlike the Greddy Profec-A or HKS EVC IV).
