:(

I already know someone is going to scream SEARCH, but I have not been able to find the installation instructions for this model HKS bov. I have found alot of other similar instructions but I am posting my question here to be sure. This bov was already installed when I received my RB20DET front clip about 4 years ago. The engine is now in its second vehicle, and I have still never verified if I even had the vaccuum lines installed correctly.

1. Did this HKS bov come as a stock item on some RB20's or is it definitely aftermarket that someone installed before it got scrapped and sent to the U.S.??

2. Where is the back side of the bov supposed to be routed to?

3. Is the side of the bov supposed to be plugged off (recirculation issue I have read about) or routed somewhere?

Yes, I am pretty sure the vacuum lines in the pic below do not make any sense so please don't rag me about it....

No, never a factory item. Why do you have a re-circ BPV and a BOV?

"....bpv and bov..." I don't even know what a bpv is but I will take a guess: by-pass valve?? lol what is a bpv, where is it, why should I take it off or leave it? ??

I don't know any of this stuff...I bought the engine with everything as you see it (except the FMIC and extended piping). I am sure that I have jacked up the VAC lines...it doesn't make sense at all when I look at it.

you had a By-pass valve that is recirculated into your draw through intake. and you have a blow off valve. take off the one your worried about in this thread, and weld up that hole. or buy a new piece of IC piping to put there. and re route those vac lines.
