I just purchased a brand new Hks ssqv. The problem is it leaks air from where it normally discharges when its idling causing me to run rich. When I remove the vacuum line it stops leaking however. Has anyone else experienced this problem??

could be how you have the vaccum line hooked up on the intake manifold.

Ive tried multiple vacuum sources, its not that. Its like my vacuum is strong enough that its opening the valve at idle.

I really don't need to if the valve operated as advertised (sealing at idle) I can tune for it. As a matter of fact i took it apart played with it and i believe if the spring is stretched a bit it seals better at idle. There is no screw adjustment on this one.
