looking to up the boost a little bit now. got a drift event next weekend at irwindale, wich the main turn is like mid fourth gear entry . would like some more power. im picking up a ARC smic this weekend.gt28r turbo, hks actuator at 11-12 psi (what the specs are for t28 turbos)turbo back exhaustmetal intake pipe and k and n filterkoyo rad buterlfies removed yadayadawalbro 190lph pump

basically im going to hard wire the pump.im thinking i should be around 230 240 hp, is that safe?thankssorry for the weak *** question lol i just wanted other peoples opinions.

stock injectors, ecu, mafs? If so, I don't think your MAFS will hack it. I think you'll max it out at 11psi on that T28. I don't have any experience with it though, so I could be wrong.

from the horsham develpments website: one of their test cars...

The stage 2 chip is designed to optimise the fuelling and ignition for an S13 with the following modifications:

Free flow air filter Free flow exhaust 16psi boost pressure Uprated intercooler T28 turbo from an S14 200SX Uprated fuel pump The chip removes the fuel cut and, in conjunction with the upgrades above, will allow the engine to produce up to 270bhp.

The stage 2 chip instructs the ECU to deliver more fuel to the engine under high boost. It also retards the ignition a little more than the stage 1 chip. This prevents detonation when running high boost levels.

mods:Stage 2 chip T28 @ 14psi of boost Saab front mount intercooler K & N filter Mongoose exhaust Bosch fuel pump

The graph shows power at the wheels (blue), power lost through the transmission and tyres (green) and calculated power at the flywheel. This car made 264bhp @ only 14psi of boost, the increase in performance comes from the modifications to the engine. More power could be liberated with a higher flow intercooler and more boost pressure. The Stage 2 chip optimises fuelling and ignition timing to take best advantage of the modifications.

they're running stock maf and injectors. I have this chip, and 10psi feels sick.

my stock AFM is pegging in the 90% range with only 9 psi, and i'm sure it it'll be over 100% at 11-12psi.

how does a chip compensate for that? just curious, does it ignore that and not cut the fuel/timing? or is it working like a MAP clamp, with a resistor internally?

anyway, good luck and have fun out at irwindale.

haha sup metaball. yeah 909 is gonna get owned by the 619 LOL.

its a shoc maf, which is suppost to be better.i guess ill just do it, throw it up on the dyno and check the air fuel ratio and see how it looks.
