my setup is basically a sr20det blacktop (s13) 3inch exhaust, dp, 255walbro, huge FMIC, upgraded t25, hks actuator and blitz bov other then that stock..

before the hks actuator my stock actuator was only hitting 5psi and i believe stock setting is 7psi? I have a huge FMIC i didn't think it would effect the boost just that it takes longer to hit 7psi..

Installed the hks actuator and adjusted it ... first adjustment i got 8psi and notice a difference in power but as i tried to turn up the boost no change at all... i checked all the clamps and looked for signs of leaks but don't see anything.. how much adjustment should i have to turn the actuator to gain more boost? last time i turned it 3 times but no change. so i stopped.. anyone familar with the hks and how much adjustment they had to do to gain 12psi?

sometimes u cant find boost or vac leaks by just opening the hood and looking or listening to them. u should get a boost leak tester and test it that way.

Pull your MAF off and put a cap in your Intake Pipe. Then unhook the vacuum line from your FPR and blow air into the intake to pressurize the system.

i bought a 2 inch rubber cap from home depot, drilled a hole thru the center and put a metal valve stem in there.take the intake pipe off,and put the cap right on the turbo inlet.pressurize the system, and look for leaks.as your pressurizing you can read the boost gauge to see what psi you got in tyhere and how much its dropping

Why spend money on making a cap when you can take a soup can or something 2" to just plug the intake and put an Air Nozzle into the vacuum line from the FPR and pressurize the system that way. No money spend.
