So i have a HKS Hi Power cat back with 85mm piping on my S14 KA. (Eventually will go SR20) Anyway I got a pretty nice size dent in the resonator and now it makes loud vibratey noises, if that makes sense. I was going to get a Vibrant Performance Bottle type resonator and just cut and weld but then I realized that I had 85mm piping. So what size inlet/outlet resonator should I buy? Vibrant only makes 3" or 4" (in my case), but I have 3.4" piping. (85mm = 3.4")

i would check with a local muffler/exhaust shop first, they can probably help you out, you will probably pay less

^^^ what he said, a muff shop should be able to make it work, via an adaper or stretch the end of the pipe or whatever. they can do it.

nvrm, I looked really close at it and where the resonator attaches, it turns into a bottle neck. So it's actualy a 3" inlet/outlet with 3.35" piping...stupid if you ask me.

Hey ,

I just pick up the same exhaust couple days back. Just wondering if you scrap around resonator/bracket area.
