HKS 1.2mm or 1.6mm headgasket?

Why is there two? The 1.2mm should leave the compression @ 8.5:1 while the 1.6mm should drop that to 8.2:1. Would you want that headgasket if you're going to be running more boost than normal? What are the benefits of it?

No, you would get the 1.6mm if you had .4mm removed from the mating surfaces of the block/head.

ahhhhhhh... ok, so wait until I get the block and head resurfaced before I buy me a new headgasket. Gotcha!

Also, using a thicker headgasket throws off the quench area of the combustion chamber. Usually results in incomplete combustion. Not to mention altering compression ratios and retaining the stock engine management is not really a good idea.
