Just buy the mesh that you put under tiles (4.99 at Home Depot). It's a large sheet so bring your minivan or truck to get it. I used Chuckie to bring it home.
I measured the original size and cut a bit bigger. Then I started trimming it to fit. Once that was done, I painted it the colour I wantedI used two electrical ties to put it in place. Then I had to cut a small piece out in the centre for our stupid plate mount

It's honestly very easy and I did it all by myselfDad just helped me buy the right piece of mesh, bring it home in Chuckie, and find me all his tools, lol!
