Hiya... Just thought I would introduce myself since I've been haunting around here for so long. Got my coupe in October of 2007, and she now has OVER 72,000 miles on her!

In that time, she's been run over by a tractor-trailer (long story... the best part is I drove off and the truck had to be towed) and experienced a large stick reminiscent of that scene in Braveheart with the giant spears blowing a hole through her bumper cover and penetrating the wheel well.

This is my 4th Nissan... Started in 96 with a Sentra GLE, 2000 w/ a Sentra SE, then two Mitsus ('99 Eclipse GSX and '03 EVO8, both heavily modified), an Altima 3.5 SE sedan and finally my coupe. It was kinda purchased as a hold-me over, but I wanted something reasonably sporty that would be comfortable in long hauls!

I haven't done much with my car(s) for a few years, as most of my time and money have been wrapped up in developing my businesses. I own three small-ish tech companies with offices in Maryland, West Virginia and Kentucky. I do a ton of driving, so I'm keeping the coupe around... My fiancee is finishing up med school, so once she matches for residency and we find out where we're going to end up, I'm going to pick up a weekend driver. (Likely a 370 or EVO X)

Anywho, you all seem like a great group of folks, and I've really enjoyed reading what you've all had to say; so I'm sure I'll equally enjoy interacting with you!

Welcome to the NICO Family Dorsey. It's great to have as part of the Family dude. I also say your fiancee should get a 370. It would be BADASS to see a person in the medical field drive a nice sports car. Hey and you can take it from her when you please to have fun in it...Think about that dude .

Well, I've been toying with the idea of getting the coupe for myself and a roadster for her. If there's on thing I've learned about women over the years, it's to buy them something more expensive than what you bought yourself and you'll be good to go!

Right now she's driving a 2007 Chevy Cobalt SS... she bought it on her dad's suggestion before we had met to use as a beater commuting to rotations in the city. He's "All-American" so to speak. He actually just got done building a Factory Five Cobra roadster w/ a 408 Windsor under the hood. So my goal in life is now not to marry his daughter, but rather build an import and hand him his butt on a silver platter!

Oh, I guess I should mention that in my spare time I'm big on downhill skiing (used to race), shooting/hunting, gaming, etc.

The Turanza Serenity tires may have a funny name, but they're great tires! They handle very, very well and put out next to zero road noise. They're an all-season grand touring tire, but I still have studless winter tires to put on.

I'm putting my shopping list(s) together for the coming month. The front bumper cover is finally going to be replaced and all of the little dings and nicks fixed on the rest of the body; so since she'll be down a few days I figured that would be a good time to swap parts...

And no, she's definitely deserves the Z for putting up with me!

EDIT: Ugh... why is it that the signature getting appended is a hit and miss affair?
