Hi I just put a deposit on a ca18det, and just wanted to be active on one of the few forums for them. The motor seems good, but is running really rich. He has dsm 450cc injectors, a SR-T25 out of a s13, and a nismo fpr. He said he had his ecu tuned for a z32 MAF "some company on zilvia", but when he had it on the car it wouldnt start. So he put the stock MAF back on, and now it runs really rich. I get everythging needed for the swap minus a intercooler for $800. You guys think I should get the ecu re-tuned, and put smaller injectors on to stop making it run so rich?

Just seeking some feedback.Thanks

Yeah, smaller injectors and stock MAF and ecu. Get it running well first, then go from there.
