lol, well he's supposed to be one of the best, I went to him on recommendations from 2 other megasquirted 240 guys in the area. But yeah they were really cool, so I think I can get at least one free run out of them. haha.

I did some math and assuming the throttle body moves exactly 90 degrees from open to closed, it was 6 degrees short of being fully open. Probably doesn't mean much on that end, but it'd be the computer not seeing WOT that would really make the difference I guess. I wonder what I'll make with it actually at WOT, with the new downpipe and test pipe.. Should be into the 200s easy, eh?

sorry I wasnt downing that shop/person individually just in general I have saw some crazy stuff ....

IDK that 6* may be more relevant than you think, maybe not 30whp but still some, turbos love low restriction....maybe closer to 180whp at wot. Again if he was tuning for wot and you were not at it, the tuning was pointless. I would ask for half my runs back to start see if he understands dont be a d!ck about it though, just show him the datalog explain you feel you runs were not very "productive" probably from the car not being wot, which was NOT your fault.

what size d/p and test pipe? stock? stock o2 housing blows too IMHO, next time just unbolt after your d/p(unless they prohibit suck power freeing)... if you d/p and test pipe were stock thats holding back a few for sure. I know my 2.5 cat back is holding my setup down some as well as the stock o2 housing in the topend. May be making a 4" after cat side pipe but clearance is not looking good.

Yeah, I think I'll go down there today and have a talk.

The turbo outlet, donwpipe and cat are all stock. I've got an aftermarket outlet, downpipe and test pipe sitting here ready to be installed though.

like I said start out real nice just be calm about it. IF I was the shop and someone showed me an error I made I would damn sure go about making you happy so you will come back. Not prying but 8runs with them tuning cost you a penny or two. They should actually tune it you know... he messed up not yourself, floormats shouldnt be your fault, every car has them but mine

I recently installed a afc Neo, set TPS in the initial setup (with key turned to the on position, as per instructions), but found that when actually driving and depress the pedal all the way down, the Neo reads only high 80's low 90's on the % TPS. I don’t know anything about data logging but sound similar to my findings, and my floor mat is not in the way. I have rerun thru the setup suspecting I did something wrong but same end result. Could just be voltage to the sensor with engine running verse not?

I checked it again and the calibration is good. With the mat under there it reads 93-95%. This ain't no piggyback system.

I would check that, WOT is 100% and no matter what you use to tune it should display 100%

I'm going to try and remove my oil pan to weld in a bung today but I will check it again. I have already calibrated it twice, both times it read the same 3.4V at WOT, after that, with key in on position it will read 0-100% TPS, but engine on and actually driving, its not going to 100%. I'll mess with it and see if I can find any rhyme or reason. I'll remove the kick down switch left on after the 5 speed swap, maybe that is having some effect on the WOT voltage when running?

Has the OP gone back to the dyno yet?

so I assume they are going to hook you up... id so good so is it a mat positioning thing or is the mat always gonna be under the pedal? I know my clutch pedal does that sometimes

Well it's a Nissan form fitted mat, but it's old. I think I'll leave it at home next week and then when I am at the track and those extra few horses actually matter, I'll make sure it isn't pushed too far forward, lol.

..That or see if I can get some Silvia mats straight from JDM land. I do have a coupe after all.

The most I get on the TPS is 4.2V at WOT.
