Alright, ive got a 92 240sx and we just "finished" the rb20det swap. I drove it for about 30 miles, then it got dark and i turned on the lights. The first left turn i take everything shuts off and the engine boggs down. as sooon as i turn back right it all comes back on. I have checked for a loose connection bye the steering comlumn and thats not it. I have no idea what it could be. It seems like my ecu is loseing power but i dont know how to give it more. Now i lose power if i hit the brakes, or turn left. Anybody know how to fix this?

Where are the battery Volts at? 12v? or 14v? turn the car and put the volt meter on it and see what it says. maybe your alternator isn't working.

also, just because it reads 14 volts dosent mean the alternator is putting out enough amperage, id take it somewhere like checker/autozone and have it tested.
