I'm about to hit 60k miles. I'm of course getting my oil changed and rotating the tires, what else needs to be done? Since having the car I've changed the air filter only once and the cabin filter twice. Should I get the CVT fluid changed or something?

You could refer to your car's manual

I dont think you need to tell them what kind of service needed to be done unless you know what's wrong with the car else just tell them 60K service, they will know right away.

WTF is a coilover?

OBTW, of those 60k, 48k are highway. Literally. I drive to-from Dallas to Atlanta about once a month.

Springs use your stock shocks. Coilovers replace both.

Haha, yep. The advantage is that replacing the springs alone can wear out the shocks faster. You can spend 200 on springs (and spend 800 later) or you can spend $1000 now. I opted for the latter.

yea I'm still thinking about that one anyways. I mean yea it def makes the car look awesome and handle better, however, I live overmount and the roads are kinda horrible here. Phenom took me for a ride in his car to show me the diff and my god it's a world of difference between lowered cars and stock ones.

It's not so bad, once you get used to avoiding holes and areas with large speed bumps.

Just because you get coils doesn't mean you have to slam your car. Ride quality goes down as you go lower also. You can lower it lets say 1.5 inches, enjoy the better handling, enjoy the nicer appearance, and still not have as bad of a ride as Phenom. Phenom is pretty low.

I've gotten pulled over for it a lot but I've never gotten a ticket. I'm always polite and just tell them that I took it off for a car show and haven't put it back on. A lot of my friends have gotten tickets and stuff but I think they just got unlucky officers or they weren't being cooperative.

Not yet. I typically drive in the neighborhood of the speed limit. Other than the drop and the window tints, my car looks stock, too, so it's not as noticable. I expect that three days after I plasti-dip my wheels and/or replace them with aftermarket wheels, I'll wind up with a ticket for a front license plate.

If you're not behaving like a retard on the roads, it's been my experience that the cops leave you alone.

^ This.

I used to have my car much lower (to the point that I literally dragged my car over a pair of speed "humps" - not a nice sound), but when I tried to fit some wheels that ended up being too wide, I raised the car up. I never lowered it after that. Even after putting them back on stock wheels, I've had folks tell me that this is the perfect height; no lower.

While stupid low is fun, it does make your life more stressful. I still get to hear my front bumper scrape every now and then (not nearly as bad a sound), and I don't have to worry as much about debris/bumps in the road.

Me, too, but I'm glad I didn't try to pull the fenders.

Only if they tell you to. When I took mine in at 90k, they told me it still didn't need to be changed.

Timing chain is at 110k. Your dealer can scan the CVT, and it will tell him if it needs to be changed.
