hitch wiring

Well I got my 09 Murano today, installed hitch and connected wiring-aftermarket from PWiring.After all was connected it didnt work.Checked the voltage at the single white factory wire terminal and there is no 12v which is why I think the lights wont work.Anyone know about the hot wire and when or what I need to have turned on, Since I have only had the car around 2hrs its still all new??????Thanks

Dont know about the wire issue, but I located the green wire that runs to the acc. plug, in back right corner and connected power wire to that and all works.So now I just wonder why the white wire doesnt have voltage?
