Hitachi vs. Mitsubishi?

Hey all,

I have a '90 SOHC 240sx. I need a new distributor cap and rotor, but I'm not sure whether it's Hitachi or Mitsubishi (could be either on my model, I think). It has a replacement cap, and can't find any brand names on the distributor body (that I can see). Is there any way to tell?

Go to http://www.partsamerica.com. They have pictures of the caps for both distributors by manufacturer. I keep the right picture in my trunk so I always get the right one.

Ditto. Look at the pictures for the rotors. It stands out the most different.
