so i finally got the rb running good and decided to take it down and do a couple base pulls on the dyno before i slap on the gt3076r, top mount intake mani and 550cc injectors. this is on stock 7psi and pump gas. First pull i got 243hp and 299 ft/lbs of torque we couldnt get a good tach signal so the rpm and torque is wrong and on booth pulls. Here is the second

not sure they told me that torque is measured by rpm so since i didnt get a good tach signal that the rpm and torque would be wrong if you look at the dyno sheet it says i redlined at 10,000 rpm. first one where i got 299ft/lbs said it redlined at 7800 rpm and for anyone wondering i dont have a working tach

Is this totally stock with no upgraded ecu? 299ft/lbs is way too high.

I only wish I could pull 299 ft-lbs.. 142 seems a tad too low as well, but more realistic for stock 7 psi.

There was something seriously wrong with their dyno. You also need a functioning tach..

That's the highest I've ever seen on a stock RB25. They usually dyno ~210-230 whp on a dynojet.

I'd really like to see a dyno of intake manifold upgrade alone. I think it gets rid of that dip in power at the top end.

Sorry it's not the stock ecu the ecu I got with the engine was fried so I got one from jdm of Miami. I don't know if it makes a difference but the one that came with the motor had the letters cc on it and the one I have now has g8

Still stock and you're gonna want a tunable ecu for the gt30

I'm going with a z32 ecu and a Nistune

Look into a maxima ecu with a Jim wolf tune. I hear it's the new hotness.

Nice numbers! Sucks about the rpm signal.

Well as of right now my goal is only 400hp it's going to be something to play with on the weekend so I think a Nistune should be fine and as for the intake that will be one of the last things I do. If I do that I'll go with a plazmamann

Really good whp numbers for that boost level.

The dyno place is right when they told you the RPM and torque values are incorrect. The power numbers are correct though.

Torque is actually back calculated from the "direct" measurement of horsepower, if the RPM signal is good. Because the RPM signal is bad torque can not be accurately back calculated.

As for the ECU, the Z32 + Nistune route is a great way to go.
