It snowed today and when I was in the parking lot I hit the curb with my front right tire probably at around 20-30 km/h. After that my tire was very close to the mud guard and was not in the right position in the wheel well. The tire is about 2 cm from the mud guard and whenever I'm making left and right turns I can here the wheel rubbing up against the mudguard or something else. If I let go of the steering wheel the car veers sharply off to the right. There isn't really any damage to the tire or rim. The rim just got grazed.

Is this an alignment problem or is it a bent LCA. Also, how much do you think it would cost to fix?

I was lookinh at it today and i saw something that looked like a ball a and a screw attached to the bottom of it that was pushed in. On the passenger tire I can only see the ball but on the driver side wheel I can see the ball with the screw and it is upright. Everything else looked the same but I will take another look.

The part you describe sounds like the ball joint on the LCA. If steering is off you likely bent the outer tie rod, possibly the inner rod as well. Make sure you aren't leaking any p/s fluid from the rack on that side.

If that's it then consider yourself lucky, maybe $100 in parts *tops*.
