If you were messing around on public roads then you had it coming.Sucks it happened but sucks even more you were doing it where you were.Bfe or not it is still a bad idea unless you have a roundabout in your personal driveway.

heh, i remember when i did the same thing, but it was in a parking lot during the winter. busted up my control arm bad and cracked my wheel. good thingi had extra stock wheels layin around and the control arm was an easy source from the junkyard. it happened as i was starting to get pretty decent at control around the little center curbs surrounding the lightpoles, but didnt consider the fact that it was now mid december and there was ice. oh well. we live and we learn. and for all you people that are gonna tell me to do it in a parking lot is stupid cuz i can kill someone, it was the middle of the night in a lot where the only people there were all standing in front of a store on the other side of the lot and we were all playin around one car at a time. the cops dont even bother us when we're there because of how deserted the area is and the most thats ever happened in the 6 years i've been goin, is people smackin up body panels or control arms a lil, no one has ever gotten hurt there. eh, i'm sure someones still gonna come on here and hate but oh well. wish i had pics.

anyway, to the op: it happens, learn from it. the only way to get better is to practice. everyone breaks things

wow a lot of you are acting like your s*** doesnt stink or something. everyone is going to wreck drifting no matter where you do it. and i doubt that anyone who like to drift has ALWAYS done it on a track or on private property. so anyways its not going to stop me from doing what i love. so hate on haters

While I do not condone this behavior, at least you and everyone else is ok Alex. Looks like its time for a J. Fraz brace and adjustable TC rods

so.... the best of you look at their gauges (the 160mph yo -darn, it's the old one) while on a turn or even worse while drifting on a turn, miss the turn, don't manage to hold the wheel and freak out and break stuff in the car.

I do the same mate, but I just glimpse on them because my main concern is not to hit anything.

you shouldnt been allowed to drive then. if you have to focus all of your attention not to hit something.

thanks for the advice kid.

Looks like you haven't driven in a big city, have you? Try driving in chicago, for a change, or boston and ny, where I was before. It is not how I am driving... It is how other people are driving and pop out in front or in the side of my car. It is what they say, stay alarmed.

If you are not doing the same, please don't come any northern.

Anyways, I am not boosted or anything, so I can hear my engine, I know that I have gas, and I maintain her so she doesn't overheat. So, I know my speed and I can feel the revs, so no point on admiring my gauges all the time. But I guess that's advanced driving, right?

lol. i think its happened to a bunch of people. i shattered my right front hub bearing, inner and outer tie rods in my 95 240sx. thank god that was it. but i learned that if you leave a bar with 2 other buddies and your bar tab was just under $300 you might be drunk. funny part is, that was the last night ive ever drank and drove home cause when i hit the curb it was in a neighborhood and i ran through the stop sign and went into a yard, took out the powerbox, and phone box. my buddy said i lost my shoe in the bushes and i was more worried about that than the car. we later found out why they never turned on lights in the house or 5.0 were called. bad night to say the least.
