some dumb **** nut smoked my car in my parking lot last nighti just noticed my whole passenger side scratched to ****but its all goodwe found who it was...theres a car parked on other side of the lot with white paint at exactly the same hieght as the scratchesso we reported a hit and run to the insurance company, which has a tendancy to GREATLY overestimate how much repairs cost (my buddy rear ended some chick. ford tempo, small scratch on rear bumper, and muffler tip chipped. 200$ to fix scratched, $14 for muffler part, and $500 labour). so anyways, i go to see insurance adjuster on monday and damage should be about $1200 or so (probably actually cost about $400 to fix). but yeah half the car needs to be repainted, so im thinkin if ill add onto the insurance money if needed and get the whole car repainted in that bmw m blue color. you know...that realllly REALLY nice blue color u just wanna jizz yourself when you see. i'd post a pic but i dont wanna **** with the bandwidth

yes, its good that you found out who did it. people are so stupid. they need to accept responsibility for their actions. if they are old enough to drive, they are old enough to have the balls to tell someone they screwed up.

just got quote from insurance company. They got cheap this time...they gave this chick my freind smoked a bigger estimate for a ****ing paint chip on her rear bumper grr

525$ to "resurface' my whole sidei know i can buff out the **** on the front fender and rear qpaneli dunno about the door. that was like main impact point...apparently they said it looks like the guy hit my door backing up, drove forward, and started backing up again (yeah..i know...what the **** kind of drunken moron would do that). anyways, so im gonna get them to pay me out since icbc will pay out 70% of the estimate in cash if u wanna do it urself or wahtever. so ill spend 30 mins buffing those two things out and if i cant get the **** off door wiht the buffer, ill get my buddies dad to repaint the door. His dad likes me so he'll probably do it free as long as i bring him the paint, which i already have.

Confront the person who hit you and make them pay for the crap.. that way.. take the insurance money and then make the person who hit you pay for it and use the rest of the money to paint the car BLACK! =)

theres only 1 insurance company, ICBC (insurance corp. of british columbia). What they'll do is tell him "ok you have 30 days to pay us back the $525 we had to pay this guy or your insurance will go up $2500 in the next year".

i soo wish i could do that heh

dam, thats a pretty stiff penalty if he doesnt pay up. i agree tho, if they are old enough to drive, then they are old enough to accept the responsibilty of their actions.
