How bout yesterday morning around 6am I was driving to work and pass a 18wheeler because I hate drivin next 2 them because of rock chips and next thing I know a big *** tire was in the road and I just ran over it! Pull over 2 tha side and saw my front bumper cracked, under pastic cover was being drag from my G and the right side skirt was scraped pretty bad oh also 2 of my rims are scraped by the rubber also.

I was MAD! Now I'm trying to get the Nismo front bumper for my coupe (anyone who knows where to get it for cheaper plz let me know!).

I feel yer pain i have had my 06 coupe for just over a year now and have had my girlfriend back into her brothers SUV and some guy back into her in a parking lot not to mention 2 bent rims and some curb damage. Dont get 20'' rims they are so unforgiving! But on the brighter side Im heavely insured and all was taken care of. I just took advantage of the front end damage and installed an aftermarket front bumper. Im sorry i cant find the site I ordered it from but here is one i found as well.

http://www.bodykits.com/Front-....html

I couldnt spend the money to go carbon fiber and not too many places make urethane in anything interesting so i went with a good quality fiberglass It looks awsome just make sure it is TOP quality and thick. I know it may be alittle heavy but you dont want cheap fiberglass. It cost me about $340 for the bumper shipped and another $400 for paint and fitting. The other reason to make sure its top quality is when it comes to fitting these kits. Some cheap kits will require your body man to completely cut and rebuild the body part. I will keep looking for the site i ordered mine from and post it. you can see my car under members rides on the last page. Red G with Top Secret bumper. Good luck!

Hate to say it but you can claim against your insurance. Your agent should be able to tell you what the claim will do to your rates.

Similar experience with wife 07 Sequoia. It was an ambulance that lost the tire and it hit the front of her truck. I circled around and got their info and made them fix it.

no i didnt take any pics of the damage i choose to forget. It still has its fair share of rock chips. It almost brings me to tears every time i wash it because i get to see all the flaws up close. I need another vehicle for a daily driver I cant take seeing my baby getting dinged up so bad. The girlfriend doesnt like the stress of driving it either knowing anything that happens to it breaks my heart. But what eve i just love to drive it!

This happened to my 240 a couple weeks after I had the entire thing repainted. It put a nice scratch into the front bumper, tore off some of the plastic undertray, and busted a whole in my resonator.

It was pretty loud and wasn't the most fun I've had in a car...

Guess what guyz?! I buff out the skirt and the scrape actually came off and I also buff the rims also. I am a lil relief becuz I didn't wanna call my insuance company and I'll probally put up about 7-800 dollars my money for the front bumper, under plastic, rh inner splash guard and paint job.

2mhighside, I saw ur car and **** looks nice! I'll stick wit the Nismo front bumper and will post up pixs after everythang been done.

Any1 who has an aftermarket front bumper and doesn;t have the need of the right inner splash guard and wanna sell it instead plz let me know! It;s the part that connect on the fender and front bumper. THX!
