so coming home form school i was going around a corner....and up here in washington where all the snow is we have tons and tons of sandy dirt on the ground so things didnt freeze. well today was a nice day so it was all dry out and everything is going good till i go around the corner. i hit the brakes and they lock up and i smash my front driver side tire into the curb. snapped my tension rod twisted my lower control arm, and of course to add insult to injury... i bent my subframe and broke my tie rod end links. what a sad day. and i wasnt even speeding or doing anything slideways. just normal driving. so college is coming up and i probably wont be going because i have to find the money to pay for my car, and i need a car so no college for me. SWEET. what a f***ed up day.

Relax, take deep breaths...this is NOT the end of the world. This should not be the reason you do not make it to college. If it is, this is probably just an excuse, sorry.

You can definately still make it to college...it's a question of whether or not this car is worth keeping or does it make more sense, financially, to get a more reliable daily driver?

go to college! think of it this way. Right now.. you can make 8bucks an hour, after college u can make 40 bucks a hour. Mathmatically speaking... after college you can make 5 times as much money. That means one year of working after college=5 years of mcdonalds.

just keep the car in garage or store it for now and fix it up later when money flows a lil easier. Don't give up on college cuz of this.

Im too going to college soon and money are tight.. so i stoped working on my 240 since a few months ago. My plan is to save up as much as i can before going to college, and get a job while im at it. All the extar money will still go ot my car. Apply for a butt loads of finicial aids and scholarships and just cross ur fingers and hope everything will work out. Go pray lolz.

On second thought, if you honestly rank fixing your car over attending college and there are not as yet unmentioned extenuating circumstances perhaps you should never go. Just get a job at McDonalds and hope to rise through the command structure to night manager in charge of the shake machine.

ok wow you guys aren't understanding. im talking about not going to college for a quater. not the rest of my life, and i already have a job and i get paid 10 bucks an hour. its just the payment is due in 1 week, and i will probably have enough money its going to be close i got a friend who does good work on these and knows them like the back of his hand. and i was able to find all the parts in great condition at pull and save so im good its going to be about 350-450 when its all said and done. hopefully he will have it done tomorrow. but yeah ha college is my priority but i can skip this quater and go during the summer no big deal. and plus im already 2 quaters in. so know worries and screw mcdonalds.

i dont have any pics of it. the only picture i have is of the rim that is messed up and i pic of the suspension rod that is broke but those are both on my phone and i cant transfer them onto my computer.... or at least i dont know how. but its fixed im only out $360. thank god i know my buddy luke. im going to give him a....."donation" when i get paid again. but yeah ill be posting up some pics of my ride but of the good things not the bad.

medical lake is right outside of spokane. and no we dont really have any camping around here. the stuff we have is pretty ghetto. if you want camping you will have to go to like 2 rivers or something.
