I hydroplaned on the way back to work this afternoon and hit a curb with the side of my tire straight on. I broke a rod at the bottom smooth in half, but am not sure what the rod is called. I am active duty Air Force, so I have little money, one car, a 3 year old daughter, and an 8 month pregnant wife, I really need to get an estimate on the part and repair cost. I didnt get to take a picture before I had it towed, but from what I have seen it is the A-frame, i think, from the pictures ive seen online it is the rod that is beneath the sway bar. The rod, or frame goes to the back of the wheel and is mostly flat and wide. Sorry, I'm trying to explain it the best I can, but it's not easy. Any help would be apprectiated. Thank you

Pictures would really help. Try calling Nissan and just ask them what auto body they recommend. You do not have to tell them what happened just ask who they use. The auto body should be able to give you a written estimate with a list of all the parts that will visibly need to be replaced. This will get you started on what to look for.

holy humongous sig batman! ^

if you need to get a repair quote can't you just take it to a repair shop and ask them how much it'll cost? even with a picture some of us may be able to tell you what you broke, but as to how much it'll cost i think only a repair shop can tell you

Look at this link: http://tinyurl.com/yhwohbu

Click on the part that looks like the one you broke & it'll show you a price.

Here's the full link if the short one does not work:
