For the first time in my life, I've exceeded 20.0 mpg in a G50. I'd like to thank the Academy, my fans, the producers, the writers, and the casting directors. The last time I came this close was 19.9, heading back from Indiana.

Drove 100 miles to Columbia MO tonight, then 100 miles back. Filled up with 93 Shell on the way out. On the way home, filled up with MFA 91. About $2.05 a gallon.

The cruise was set at 75 and it wasn't too windy. Not much hill climbing either, being middle America and all.

Also I should note, I had my oil changed two days before with 5w30 at the dealer. I still get 12-13mpg around town.

A real 80 mph is 2666 rpm with 215/65/15 tires [26"]

Speedometer vary but all are optimistic to protect you.

Remember the 1974 Nixon/Ford National 55 mph speed limit. It could come again!

Everyone [with a car] will soon be required to grow 2.5 acres of corn or equivalent................that's enough for 1 car year per crop.

Our Southern gasoline has more BTU per gallon thus better MPG

I was there. No it is not. It is boring enough to make one cry and do illegal substances.

Try driving 55 mph on any major uncongested heighway for just 20 minutes. Bet you can't do it without getting real nervous about the show in the rear view mirror.

I used to see those numbers and higher once upon a time. Enjoy! I haven't found out what's killing my gas mileage yet. How many miles are you getting per tankful with city driving?
