So, yesterday, for the first time, I filled up at a local Shell station instead of Chevron (shell had a car wash =) ). Noticed rough *boing boing boing* idle, after driving 30 mins on the freeway.

Do a oil change, and remove/replace Nismo~OEM transmission mount.

I decide to run some of my audio cable, and remove the cover of the fuel tank. I start the car, and do hear a hissing comming from the top of the fuel tank.

Im guessing the fuel pump is on its way out. Hopefully it will last another 1k miles. One thing I did notice, as i wiggle the harness comming from the fuel pump/sender, a change in pitch happens with the hissing. The harness pins/sockets do look clean.

Bottom line, change fuel pump/o-ring?

Havent ohmed the injectors yet, but this jumped out at me first.

My pump is newish and it makes a slight hissing noise.. I wouldnt really worry about it... when it starts buzzing is when its bad.

Bad Freaking gas.

Shell station, with a car wash. I need the car washed quick, since we were going to be working on it at the shop. Filled up with about 19 dollars worth. About 1/2 tank.

I remember getting to the shop. Friend drove car in, and said it was shaking alot. It was a 30 mile drive.

Threw in BG44k today at work. Idled for about 10 mins. Drove it around during lunch. Felt better already, drove 10 miles tonite to kinda help it out. Topped off with Cheveron before going home.

Down with shell.
