Car: 93' hatch ka24de-sold 89' coupe redtop sr20det 96' camry 300k miles

Post

Well i figured i would post something up about my cars. I've been into 240s for several years but i didnt get my first one till a couple months ago. I got a 93' hatch. Its bone stock and an auto . i paid $800 and drove it home.

this is the first pic i have of it. it had a bumber but for some reason i drove without it for a while. also one of the first things i did was paint the steelies and the valve cover green... everyone knew my car within a day or two

thats pretty much all i did to the car for a while.

i eventually got tired of seeing the green wheels, so i put the black tear drops on it. i also tinted the windows and traded my friend my stock taillights for his tinted ones.

thats how it still sits today. i planned on doing a 5spd swap, but ended up buying a sr with hopes of putting it in and doning the 5spd conversion then...

but after driving my hatch and looking at coupes i decided that a coupe is what i really wanted . so i searched and searched and i finally found one. and its perfect for my plans. it was an auto, but its been swaped. and it is a shell.. so i finally have a home for the sr.

the hood and fenders are just sitting on the car, and it has the headlights and a pignose bumper but there not on the car

i still cant believe i got this car for a xbox 360..

now with the coupe as inspiration i've finaly started showing the sr some much needed love.

when i first got it i stripped it down and started cleaning it and getting read to do a very basic sr swap. i started having some financial troubles so it was forced to wait, in a way im glad cause it made me get a coupe. but it sucked looking at the sr sitting in the corner...

well i finaly went back to cleaning the sr and painted the block

then the gasket kit came . ive recently been slowly reinstalling all the parts, and have decided to paint the valve cover to go with the block.

the beginning

stripped

painted

and as it sits now

this is how everything sits now. im slowly gathering parts for the sr and the coupe, and im depating on selling the hatch or doing the 5spd conversion finaly. as soon as i get some more parts or do something major ill update, but for now.. thanks for lookin

it all looks nice but i would've left the block silver so you can detect fluids/oil leaks sooner, find bolts, and exhaust leaks. pics and info of the rex please
