Hello everyone. Had a lot of fun this weekend racing my 240sx at the hillclimbs. The event was held at Mt. Okemo in ludlow Vermont. There were a total of 49 entries. The length of the road is 2.7 miles with an average time of 2:41.94 I placed 28 overall and 2nd in class. My time was 2:46.50. I usally run in the u class but had to move to s class because of my tires. I had hoosier with a treadwear of 40 and the limit was 50. My car was stock other then a k&n filter and a custom cat back exhaust.I do have agx shocks and tein springs with poly bushings and a limitslip rearend from a 95 240se,but thats it. in the s class you are aload to do any mod to your engine and even change it to something else just keep it looking stockish. So i did really good to take 2nd out of 5 in that class. The car handle very good and was alot of fun to race. I did have one proplem, I would loose my clucth pedal. I bleed them before every run and by the time i was near the end of the run I would loose it.The funny thing is I can drive back and forth to work and it works fine, and both the master and slave cylinders are under a year old. I did race agains two other 240 with the sr swap. I have to say that building the handling into your car pays off. Buy the way the road is paved all the way. If you want more info go to hillclimb.org or vermontracing.com. It mite take a few days for them to but up the results of this weekend.thanks for reading.
