Apperently, she is being seriously considered for Secretary of State. Other names: Kerry, and Chuck Hagel of Nebraska.

very interesting...

I'd take Hillary over Kerry.

me too. im not a huge kerry fan. plus hillary may be good for those who voted for her. She is too talented a politician for her to exit stage left following this election cycle.

Agreed, that wouldnt be a bad move. Shes already famous(could have some advantage when meeting with foreign diplomats or leaders) and seems to be a natural candidate for this position.

Bill Richardson would be a better choice.

Hillary, if I'm not mistaken, did a lot of similar work as First Lady, no? I would also not want to see Kerry in that spot. He wanted to subject US foreign policy to international vote if I understood him correctly four years ago.

Kerry = fail.

Clinton would have some good political experience dealing with everyone, seeing as she did do a lot as the First lady. I dunno though...I feel like there would be a lot of tension between her and Obama.

I don't know, the idea of hillary in the cabinet lends itself to that addage "keep your freinds close but your enemies closer".You can't convince me hillary still doesn't harbor serious hatred at Obama and the DNC in general. I still despise the woman but she did get thrown under the bus and has every right to feel cheated.

It also helps keep her out of a potential 2012 Presidential race against him from what I've heard. May be a smart move on his part.

Excuse me for asking, but what exactly would Hillary Clinton know about being Sec of State? During the primaries, it became quite apparent that she doesn't know world leaders in the way she claims to know them. She was "the wife" during Bill's reign. She met with wives and did wife things.

I mean, c'mon, we elected a President with no experience .... we're gonna have a Secretary of State without experience, too?

I watched Gene Simmons give his opinion of the stock market this morning on FOX from the floor of the exchange. ???? It keeps eyes on the screen, I guess, but we all have to try to remember that celebrity isn't everything. Sometimes it's good to have someone who actually knows what they're doing. *sarcasm*

He wants her at State to get her out of the Senate.

So long as Bill's business dealings pass muster with the approval, she'll get the job.
