hello!
I was driving today at around 70-80 and all of a sudden the engine cuts power my car is stock. It is a 90 240sx. To start it you have to pump the gas a couple times any ideas? It doesn't happen at lower speeds only at higher speeds. So at 60 it doesn't happen but at 70-80 it does. Thank you

That sounds as if your fuel pump might be going out. Does it 'stutter' before cutting out or is it quick and painless?

Solid logic.

OP - If you hammer on the car in the lower gears (before getting up to 70-80mph), does it perform normally?

It was before but it started acting up. Well I have a story now. I need to rename this to "Lets fix my car" ok I was doing some spirited driving and was starting off and came around a corner in first gear and floored it the work cut then my clutch stopped working. It wont disengage. I had to get my car towed because it wont drive at all DX. I went out this afternoon to see a patch under my car of fluid not much but a patch none the less. I bought a new Clutch Master Cylinder and am going to install it tomorrow morning, But from that patch which was centered under the car I am assuming that something is wrong with the Clutch Slave, Please correct me if im wrong thank you!

I would clean the car and start it up to determine what and where is leaking.

I found out it was leaking from the radiator cap it was overfilled no biggie and I replaced the slave and master and now it works perfectly! Now onto fixing my exhaust then onto the turbo!!
