aquaintence type friend of mine made 462whp, 332wtq, on 91 octane and 16psi. Stock longblock. MOds were greddy intake, full race exhaust manifold, q45maf, sard 550cc injectors, t3/t4 turbo, MBC, Power FC. Forget the specs on the turbo. I can post the dyno sheet later when I get home from work. It's a picture of the sheet with my phone so I'm not sure on how clear it will be.

edit, this was on a dynapack dyno btw

Nice, but... t3/T4 <> stock turbo.

To the original poster... Go read the Skyline Australia dyno thread and see what #s the guys there are laying down. From what I have read, the stock rb25 turbo can dish out low to mid 300s... But do you own research to be sure. If you're expecting much more power than that, you should think about upgrading your injectors, turbo and ECU so you can have that power safely...

Im at 272 rwhp at 8psi right now with VTC disabled....wire was freyed, and a few pinthole sized boost leaks, nothing detrimental i believe.

On the carGreddy intakestock injectorsz32afmfmicsard r2d2amp dpfull 3" exhaust

AVC-Rafc2 was on the carwideband 02 are all being re-installed. Im removing all the wiring gremlins this car has, tuning it and taking it back to the dyno on around 13 psi.

and greddy oil cooler kit also coming along for the ride.

ok well first 462hp and 332tq? seems kinda odd numbers for a rb, but anyhow like mello said i was looking for the highest seen hp number that someone would vouch for from a rb25det stock turbo on a rb25. so not really what i was looking for but thanks.... and mello about me "having that power safely... " your preaching to the choir here, my car has a fresh rb in it and i am gonna put a new turbo on it in the next month and make some real power but was considering putting my cams and intake manifold on first to see what power i could get out of the stock turbo before it totally destroys itself. just out of curiosity mainly. and btw my car has aem and a stock engine running the stock turbo and it makes 307whp and 326wtq @12psi. runs really good but i want more...... heres a vid of my car so that you know i'm just not some cyber chump that's thinking about if i could afford to build a rb 240. i have one....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqrn28mLJfM

That curve looks pretty smooth on its way up and then gets real jagged, whats the reason for that in the TQ curve? Otherwise, those are some good *** numbers.

Actually his numbers are typical for a RB2X and yours is not. Looking at your dyno graph on the aem board you have only a ~35rwhp increase from ~4200rpm all the way to peak rwhp at 6000rpm. Also you don't have an increase in TQ at ~4500rpm like a stock RB25 with working vtc. Is your VTC working? Did boost spike and taper off? Compare the aem stock dyno and yours and you'll see what I mean.

do you know what you mean? because my car is a stock setup on aem. it's just got a good tune. 326 ftlb of torque versus his way bigger turbo only doing 332 ftlb and my car has a problem? not sure what point your trying to prove. the purpose of my thread was to see what the most anyone has gotten out of the rb25det stock turbo. that is what i asked and have yet to only receive a couple of responses that actually seem like they are in reference to my question. sorry but your point really has no bearing to what i was asking anyway.

I quoted your response to that reply by Opelok about his figures being low. It has nothing to do with your initial question. Don't have to be an *** about it.

Search through their thread as well...of RB25's most are running standard turbos and have posted their mods along with their power results.
