higher than normal idle

the egr system as well as 02 is missing from my engine. is there anyway for me to fix this idle without putting all egr back in place.

It would help if you told us what engine you had.

Seeing as the O2 (you should really replace that very soon, you will get about 12mpg without it) and EGR are missing i'm going to guess that it's an sr20det. If so, there is a plastic screw in between the runners on the intake manifold. Go in there with a screwdriver and tighten the screw 1/4 turn at a time until the idle goes back to normal. Stock idle for an sr20det is 600-800rpm
