Is it true that higher octane fuel will rid you of the KS code? I need to pass emissions and I need to clear the codes. Also does the size of your exhaust matter when going for emissions?like if it's too big will it affect the cars emissions? EDIT* not TOO big but bigger than stock

I used a 1 meg resistor in place of knock sensor just for smog test and the size of exhaust does not matter.

the code is for a faulty knock sensor or it could be either disconnected or one or more of the wires are frayed.
