On importperformanceparts.net I found a toga High Volume oil pump for the CA18ET. I looked in the parts crossreference and couldn't find the oil pump. Does anyone know if the oil pumps for the CA18ET will work in the CA18DET. Thanks.Trent

Toda is a company Toga is a festive garment i wear around the lab when I am feeling pretty. I have never seen a high volume oil pump for the CA. Does that mean none exist? no but the CA pump is pretty capable so there may be no need to make one.

I'm with mad on this one guys, the stock pump is capable of getting the job done.

OPD-10-HV -- Nissan 200SX Turbo -- CA18ET 84-86 -- 8 valve, SOHC 4cyl. -- $119

OPD-27-HV -- Nissan Pulsar SE -- CA18DE 88-89 -- 16 valve DOHC 4cyl. -- $209

Two different part numbers, too bad the twin cam pump is almost twice the cost.

i looked into this, and decided to go with a new stock one, my builder has a 700+ 4g63 that still uses the OE pump so i think i'll be ok for a while, i'll just need to keep my eye on the oil pres gauge.

the single cam pump is a different part numer because it's design is different, the snout of the crank and the orientation of the dipstick make the two incompadible.

thanks guys, lol, yea i meant Toda :) I guess since the part numbers are different...that means the CA18ET pump won't work. Bummer. I'll probably just go with a new stocker. Thanks again.Trent

Well I checked because I was going to boost an NA twin cam, the S13 Silvia CA18DE and CA18DET pump is the same pump.
