Are you boosting? If not Id spend the $1100 elsewhere. Even if you are, not sure this is worthy.

just cant find much performance mods for this car without spending that 6K on the boost. i already have the intake ypipe and full exhaust. i want the lightweight pulley and the intake manifold got my interest. and of course a tune by wither bullydog or uprev.

Read the fine print and Dyno sheet. You arent gaining 30HP with this. According to their Dyno sheet, the maximum gain is 5HP. The 30HP advertised is the difference between stock HP at redline and HV Intake HP at redline. At redline, the HP output is LESS than the maximum on the Dyno sheet. So you essentially are looking at this (RPM numbers are made up):

6,000 RPMs: Stock 255 HP vs High Velocity Intake 260 HP
7,500 RPMs: Stock 225 HP vs High Velocity Intake 255 HP

I remember a huge discussion some time ago about this when speed force came out with it. And that it really doesnt give you that 30hp or so. I doubt their dyno is with a stock 3.5

LMAO!! Bless you for being a long term member like me and thank you for the effort, made my day a bit better :naughty: :)! In general, I wouldn't by speedforce, their rep is not the best for our car at the very least :nono: !

:bowrofl:

I actually posted in that thread a few times and didnt even remember it being about the intake manifold because it was so epic otherwise. I just re-read all 7 pages. Sucks, we didnt even get a warning before it was locked!
