High speed hesitation problem on 98 200SX...

Hey guys my girlfriend just bought a 1998 200SX SE with the GA16 Automatic. The first few weeks she had it, it drove fine, but yesterday on her way home to orlando, it started to hesitate a little. Now she says it will only do it between 65-75 mph and only when she tries to accelerate. If shes just cruising at a steady speed it wont do it. I havent been in the car to know what it feels like but shes says the whole car shakes a little and it takes a few seconds for the car to react to her pressing the gas pedal. I changed the fuel filter for her hoping maybe hers was clogged. However this had no effect on her problem. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Check the AT fluid and filter.

I pulled the transmission dipstick, the fluid is not brown but its not bright reddish/pink like it supposed to be. I had planned on changing the transmission fluid and filter soon.

It's a good start. At the very least it will smooth out every gear a little.

Other than a transmission issue, everything else I can think of (clogged injector, etc.) would probably have a noticeable affect in circumstances besides 65-75mph cruising.
