Hey i would like to know whats your rpm while cruising on the highway ? At first i was not liking my 3100 RPM at 100 km/h. It seemed a litlle high for me ...maybe its something related to the KA open diff , wich have different ratio (i think) from the JDM 180sx/silvia unit.

any input on that ?thx

Fred

get used to being at 4k by 70-80mph, but try to keep in mind this motor loves the higher end of the tach, i daily drove mine in 3rd gear and cruised at over 3K , its where the powerband is and its where the motor loves to be. it took me weeks to get used to this, and my friends thought it was wierd to till they drove it around a while. above 3K its nimble and qwik to react

get something that displays inj duty cycle, and pick the gear that gives you the lowest duty cycle and that will be your most fuel efficient gear for the given speed
