High RPM's

I have a 2008 m35x with 135K miles. Recently I have been driving it more and notice that when cruising at 70-80 MPH my RPM's typically stay at 3000 or just above. I don't recall if this is normal or not. I remember (or at least I think I do) reading that in this model RPM's tend to be a little higher. Just looking for confirmation or if it is something I need to have checked out. Seems to shift fine.

Yup! The Ms aren't known for their fuel economy. You've got a 5 speed transmission, and that sounds about right for the vehicle speed.

Yeah 3krpm at 80mph is normal. Mine was the same.
