when i'm in a WOT situation in my 90Q and the rpm's go over 5k there is a very high pitched squeal that is very noticible. i'm assuming this is either a pulley or belt condition. anyone ever had this sympton???? could anyone pinpoint what i should be looking for, might have to relay this to my tech. thanks, jeff

Sounds like a pulley, but it should be easy to identify with the hood up. You might wanna invest in a cheap mechanics acoustic scope (4-5 bucks at harbor frieght) to narrow it down between the belts and the pulleys.

If it's a pulley, make SURE you properly tourque the bolt when you replace it, or the new one will burn out in short order.

Either way, go ahead and replace all the belts as it's a quick change while you're under the car and cheap maintenance.

Stop driving. Replace worn pulleys and belts.

I neglected to do it immediately and was left stranded with an overheated Q!!!!!!!
