well, so your looking for a full race cam? or daily drivable (especially in a truck) slightly milder cam? Either way, i would say pdm-racing.com has you covered. Im not associated with them in anyway just had good experience with their camshafts. The c404h works well with stock valvetrain components, the full race cam does not. If you looking for an all out race cam for ka24e, you wanting to be around ~300degrees duration, .500" lift for both intake and exhaust. This will allow the ka, with stock bore and stroke, to breathe decently above 7000rpm. This type of cam will also require stiff valve springs, and the stock hydro lifters could not handle it, so solid lifter conversion as well.
Im not 100% sure as to where to buy stiff valve springs to suit ka24e. Contact pdm and ask what they recommend for thier race cam. TulsaTurbo.com, and I both sell solid lifter conversion for ka24e, you can make your own, or find somewhere else to get them. I can get stiff valve springs and upgraded retainers for ka24e exhaust only.
You want this sort of engine in your 4x4 truck? you will be losing massive amounts of low end grunt. I would run a much more mild cam myself, and stick with the rest of the stock valve train components. You can upgrade to the 240sx cam for some higher end hp, or one of the milder pdm grinds. This would work well imho and save a lot of money in the headwork.
